Guelph is located in the heart of Wellington County with a population of ~120,000. Founded in 1827, Guelph has a long, rich history and is thought to be one of the first planned towns in Canada. In recent years, Guelph has been given many names, such as Canada’s safest city by Statistics Canada in 2009, and Canada’s Most Caring Community by McLean’s Magazine in 2008.
