(Re)thinking Networking Events

How do you hope to network with colleagues outside of the event?

The organizing committee has worked with local Guelph companies to offer two networking events after the welcome reception on Wednesday, February 22nd. Transportation will be arranged from the Welcome Reception to these two events and back to the University and Conference Hotel at the end of the events. Sign up for each event takes place outside of the official conference registration form – details for each event found below.

Taste deTours

Taste deTours Guelph LogoTaste deTours offers locally flavoured food & drink tastings and cultural walking tours — with a heritage twist. We’ll take you to visit several local food purveyors where you’ll savour some of our regional cuisine and learn about the people behind the restaurants, pubs and specialty food shops. In between these Taste stops, your guide will share some little-known history of the area and point out cultural and architectural landmarks. See what Guelph used to be and consider where we’re going next. The ReTasting Food Tour has been created especially for conference attendees. All food and drink tastings are included in your ticket price
